... financing it. I have a warranty that requires me to have it checked out every six months I need to do so soon since it is that time or I will void the warranty. Since we broke up I have no way of knowing if he has kept up with the bills. My question is, if I take it in, should Ibe worried about them repossessing my jewelry?

you might I think I would ask if he kept the ring payments up if you broke up did he ask for it back I think its a chance your going to have to take because I'm sure you have to maintence the jewelry there right? should they have tried to locate him but I would just tell them it belongs to you that's why you wanna know if that's something that you need to know about it wouldn't make much sense as to why you weren't told about it not being kept up on maintence.
You could forget about the warranty. I don't know the piece you are talking about, but many jewelry stores will do a "check and tighten" for very cheep. I would avoid the jewelry stores at the mall though. Dust off the old phone book and look for a jeweler - not a sales person at a jewelry store chain. I bet you can get that maintenance for around $25 with no risk of a repo.
