... redness/baldness. He has done this the past two falls, but this year is MUCH worse and I don't know what to do. I have tried hotspot spray, itch relief spray, and cones (which he can still reach the tip of his tail), and nothing works...plz help me. What do I do?!

If your dog is not biting his tail and chasing it for entertain, it probably has skin problems. Take your dog to a vet and see what they think. Another reason why the dog is biting his tail might be because of flea infection. The only way to really cure this is checking at the vet. Or this could be just a bad behavior/habbit the dog has got into. If it is so, every time you see him do it again try to pull his mouth off the tail carefully and scold him. Or you could buy the accessories at a pet store where it seals up a dog's mouth so they can't bite anything and take it iff at eating time. Hope this answer helped!
