He/she could fight the elite four probably but youd probably want to switch him for something else competitive online wise.
Could you add move sets? It looks good to me right now though. I recommend using Smogon for move sets even if it is just for in game, It will make the game easier. I like the Gastrodon, It has good typing but most people don't use it because of it's looks. I used a Blissey in Soul Silver and it was wonderful, any hit it took was eventually healed with leftovers.
