I know it is legal to record a conversation in Ontario base on the "one party consent" law. However what if you were recording a convo and the person asks if you were recording them and you said no. Can you still use that recording for evidence because you were part of the convo?

it could be that you could record information but you have to be real careful what you do with it the law mostley says information might be recorded but what the plan is after you do the recording what your plan to do with it you could be opening the door for legal action cause some of the stuff that is recorded could be used in other ways and not be allowed to be used in a paticular incident
