We arent Google. Contact them directly if you want them. We are question.com
I'm not sure why your ego thinks it should be remembered in 500 years but for the average person they don't get remembered. Unless you are Jesus or King Tut or Thomas Edison or Shakespeare you're not on the important people list.
Our job is to live our lives, make the world a little better for giving us the privilege of being here and using the world not ruin it.
What is success?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect othe respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch Or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Neither is there any point in beginning your question with "Google", so why do people keep doing it?
The purpose of life is to take care of things. If you don't have someone or something to take care of, then by definition your life has no purpose.
This site does not give you a purpose, but it does tell you a few things you need to know when you find a purpose. www.artofmanliness.com
What do you mean there is no point to life? You just answered your question by saying in 500 years there will be people. But how did they get there? Because of us. We, in our lives, produce babies to keep the human species going. That is the real point to life for any living thing; to keep your species going. If it wasn't for you there would not be your children or their children and so on. Same thing as to why your ancestors were so important. Because if it wasn't for them you would not be alive today asking this question. I used to struggle with that question to, but then I realized I should live in the present and enjoy my life while I have it, instead of worry about the future pointlessly. I'm sure one day you will no longer be concerned about that question just like I am no longer concerned about it.
There is no actual point of life if you ask me, I mean who are we trying to impress? In the beginning the point was to stay alive, that was already very impressive due to the danger and stuff. But now we're just living in a society where everything is done for us, I'm not talking for everyone right now obviously. We just get to work to buy stuff, eat, sleep and enjoy our lives. It's actually pretty awesome if you ask me unless you're depressed or down or just just overthinking everything. I get your point, i've been there. At some point I was like "why do we live?", "what does my life mean?" or "what is the cause of our lives and our utility in this world?" I mean, you have to have a cause right? your life moest mean something? That's because I think too much, most people in this world just live without wondering or thinking about that stuff, they just enjoy their life and go with the flow. But others think very much, it can be a good thing because you see the beauty of the little things others just take for granted and enjoy them even more. But on the other hand it can be really hard, you start overthinking like you do. People tell you to stop thinking and just live your damn life but it ain't that easy. Especially with the social media and stuff it's becoming more and more a burden. You wanna live to impress other people by getting many followers, many likes, be good at sports, your looks etc. It still bothers me tho, I can't let it go. I just learned to accept the fact that that's what I am and enjoy the small things. Spending less time on social media helped me too. I hope this helped you. I'm sorry for my English by the way still learning ..., greetz.
it appears that question.com is having issues with putting google at the beginning of questions. because it is happening to so many people. who is the person approving these questions when it says google first thing off the bat.
