Google - If someone has two nearsighted parents, will that person become nearsighted?

I heard that nearsightedness was hereditary, so if one has two nearsighted patens, will they be nearsighted as default.

you know its possible it could happen to any child that was born brothers and sisters then again it could by pass some of the sisters and brothers and mabe only one will be subjected  it just depends on the move down the genetic latter
