Hell is a place and God made it also but for the evil
“The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth” Matt.13:41-42 (KJV).
“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched” Mark 9:43 (KJV).
The word translated "hell" is Sheol in Hebrew and corresponds to the Greek work Hades. This is translated into Grave, or, the common grave of mankind.
Hell is not a place of literal fire and torment as taught by the majority of religions.
A loving God would not cause mankind to be tormented forever in a fiery torment. God stated in his word that although some of the nations surrounding Isreal in bible times, did such things, read Deuteronomy chapter 18 v 10.
If God forbid the Israelites to pass their sons and daughters to pass through the fire why would he create a place of fiery torment?
Among the early Church Fathers, however, there was disagreement over hell. Justin Martyr, Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, and Cyprian believed that hell was a fiery place. Origen and theologian Gregory of Nyssa thought of hell as a place of separation from God—of spiritual suffering. Augustine of Hippo, on the other hand, held that suffering in hell was both spiritual and sensory—a view that gained acceptance.
the bible never actually talks about a fiery hell or ones going to hell in it who died .hell is actually just another name for sheol ..a common grave for mankind. we all go to the grave.a loving god never wants any of his creations to burn forever and its impossible because the dead are conscious of nothing at all ecclesiates 9:5,10...so how can a person burn and be conscious of nothing at all...hell was just a scare tactic used in churches to frighten ppl so they would come to church to be saved .so called , and thus more memebers= more $$$$$..
“All those . . . who have come to know the truth” can answer that question.
What does the Bible say? “For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, . . . for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.”—Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, Revised Standard Version.
The Hebrew word Sheol, which referred to the “abode of the dead,” is translated “hell” in some versions of the Bible. Hell, in the Biblical sense, is simply the common grave of mankind, where all activity has ceased.
Is not this definition of hell more logical and in harmony with Scripture? What crime, however horrible, could cause a God of love to torture a person endlessly? (1 John 4:8).... FACT:God does not punish people in hell

Well what is hell. The bible does not teach that hell is a fiery place of torment in which he tortures people forever. The greek term hades has been translated hell but which means nothing short of the common grave of mankind.

God mad both heaven and hell. God made hell not only for the unforgiven or sinful souls. Gods designing of Hell occurred when the angel Lucifer was cast out. Lucifer was created by God. He was one of the most amazing and beautiful angels. He was also said to be one of the leaders of the praise singing angels. But then he decided that he was the most powerful and important person in Heaven saying that he was the rightful ruler and that he was better than God and challenged him. God cast him out of heaven, and Lucifer took a great number of angels with him when he fell. These angels who fell became demons, possessed and disfigured by the evil crime committed. He appeared in the Garden of Eden as the serpent that tempted Eve into eating the forbidden fruit. God cursed the snake and mankind. Mankind was cursed with death. Life was actually designed to be perfect with no death or war or sickness. But that changed after the consumption of the bad fruit. Technically the Earth is as much the Devils realm as it is God's. Lucifer a.k.a Satan is called The Prince of This World. So to answer your question. God created hell and God created the Devil.
Heaven and hell are not made by God, they are not physical domains like planet earth. Unfortunately, we misinterpret the scripture. Heaven and hell are experienced on earth when we take birth. The scripture says, as you sow so shall you reap. Why does a young child reap being born blind? Stop and ask questions, realize the truth, be enlightened. Is God cruel? No. Then why do bad things happen to good people? Because it is the reaction of our own actions. We experience hell right here on earth just as we experience heaven. Because we believe in fairy tales like that of Santa Claus, we don't realize God in the temple of our heart. That's what the scripture says, the kingdom of God is within you. Let us overcome our belief in fairy tales and be enlightened with the truth.
Dante didn't invent the concept of hell. Hell always existed. He just explained the different levels of hell and the reasons for the different punishments gave to the damned in those specific areas of it. All he did is expound on the Catholic teachings of hell, but he didn't invent it.
