Google - I tried to do a system restore on my Windows XP but I got system restore incomplete

I need help on how to restore it. I don't have Internet on my computer. I don't know if that matters or not. Please help

i was wondering how old your computer is it may need a update on its programs it needs it may be the biggest reason some apps have to be down loaded from the internet it might need  that first.
