...  makes me uneasy. I live in a cold place so to put it outside would expose it to -40 weather. It's a regular bbq propane tank. But am I crazy or am I justified in being uneasy about it being in my home?

My neighbor has a propane tank outside his house exposed in the weather his is fine hasn't caused any issues i would feel the same way about it being in the house but if nothing has happened so far your probably okay but i get your point.
