... support, rounded off its about $1,600 a month. I used to have a great job, but couldn't survive because child support took so much. My son is supposed to be withonest me 50% of the time. In the last few months it has become 80%+. He is almost always at my house. His mother won't do anything about the child support, she likes to party. A lawyer wouldn't help me. The child support office wants her signature to prove this, which she also refuses. She plans on moving to Texas in january, my son will stay with me in Oregon until school is over, I then myself with my family plan on moving to a different part of texas. This child support is rediculous being as he is with me as much as he is. He never wants to leave when she actually shows up to get him. What can I do? Child support must go away. How do I go about custody? I've talked to many lawyers and none seem to want to help. My family will back me up, and so will my son's mothers parents who have seen this first hand. I'm married with two step children which I plan on adopting within the next year, but supporting my family has become almost impossible with my situation. Please please help

I know money is hard you need to show child support office how much you make all you have to do is show them something that shows how much money you make you can always petition the court this will get you a hearing the judge will make a decision based on the money you have coming in. He will reset the child support amount also he will take in your current situation which is what I think you can do if child support won't help you an attorney won't take the case because you don't have the cash to pay him that's probably why, but I would start with the child support office to show how much your making and what you can actually afford.
