I've worn it for 3 days and I have no idea how to tell if im doing good or not

It takes weeks and months for results to show, just be patient and wear it for the period your orthodontist said.

if your teeth are straight   or you look in the mirror to check and see if its for more then one tooth it is to keep the tooth in the position it would normally be in the tooth or teeth could be trying to keep it in alighed with the other teeth it might have been trying to shift and this would be something the dentist didn't want  so he gave you a positioner brace that would keep it or other teeth straight and in postion
