My fiance wants to name our son Wyatt Cain. It's OK, I like the name Wyatt but when I say it with my accent it sounds like I am saying white. How can I get him to agree to change it. I don't want to start a fight but he is dead set on the name.

Not sure what to say but I'm gonna try my best to anser this for you .if you don't like the name I would maybe just be honest with him tell him you don't like it. Or say "well keep that one in mind but let's keep looking just incase we see something else "another idea is if your husband is set on the name maybe suggest that you name the baby after someone like. Maybe yours of his father ,grandfather,uncle ,brother teacher in memore of someone that has past you could also suggest if he's set on wyatt making it his middle name hope this helos
Cute name!! Maybe talk about it as a middle name or simply tell him u dont like it. I refuse to name my kids something I'm not 100% on. He's lucky has getting a say at all. I didnt give my other a say at all. If I'm carrying it and giving birth to it, then I'm naming it. Honestly I argued with my mother about the name more than anyone. In the end i named my daughter what i wanted and no issues from it. I have names picked out for my next kids and my hubby has no argument. .. he agrees that women go through a lot to have kids and should names them. He's offered names and I've thought of them. In the end i choose. Good luck
