... most importantly, a personal God. They claim that the God of Hindus is cold and impersonal, and person who follows Hindu religion is alone in the world. How does one respond to such criticism. ?

I don't think anyones religion should be criticized because we all believe in different things. The Bible is the only place that brags a loving God and he is Jehovah. (Psalm 83:18) He takes care and protects those who love him and obey him, I don't know too much about Hindu religion I can speak for myself and the God that I serve is loving, patient and merciful. There are many gods, but Jehovah is the Almighty God ruling in the heavens, who created everything for mankind. I encourage you to do research either from Bible or asking around. Here are some scriptures that may interest you. 1 John 4;8, Psalm 37;28, Job 37;23, 1 Cor. 8; 5,6

I appreciate everyone's comments and hope everyone reads the Bible to find out what this system is coming to. At 2 Tim. 3: 1-5 it actually tells how people will act today and it's right on. This world has seen it's last stand and soon the system of wicked people will parish, not the earth(God wants man to inherit the earth) but wicked man who doesn't care to change and recognize his headship. We have a future to look forward to on a peaceful new earth where crime, death, prejudice, wars and all bad things will be gone. Who wouldn't want that? Jehovah loves us all and wants all to have everlasting life, so take heed and study your Bible with us and find out what wonderful future lies ahead.
jaybird is correct. All other "Gods" are not really gods and have no power but the Christian God is the very one who created everything you see for the very purpose for life on earth so He can have fellowship with us.scientists have recently found evidence backing up His creation story in the Bible and many Bible prophesies have come to pass and none has ever been false.Suggest reading the science collection on the subject by Dr.Grant R,Jeffrey titled CREATION that is a fantastic book to read.
I think it all depends on how you perceive the teachings of your religion , if you have been taught or you are in certain social group ,the views of the mass collective usually dictate what you believe and how that impacts into your life and how you interact wit h others. Most religions taken too literally can become dogmatic and unyielding and the real teachings are used as a method of controlling the masses.I have read beautiful , loving guiding words and verses in all the worlds teachings. If unconditional love and its virtues ,eg empathy , charity etc in word and deed and let our hearts not be ruled by pre conditioned taught ideas , we can see the real meaning behind the words of all paths
Very nice explanation given by you.I appreciate it. We are all a children of God, if we think so , no any religion of other community is need for us.
