Shit, that's a thinker. Okay, so he started off with a product worth 200, let's call that our baseline, or "even". He sells it for 200, so he's still even. Now, the neighbor comes back and takes 1000. He is now a thousand less than even.
So, his losses are 1000 rs. This is assuming your professor isn't a tricky sonofabitch.
Their is a little correction from previous answere
Lets understand the question first
The shopkeeper selled a goods for 200 without any profit . (Amount of goods=200rs)
cash recived from women=1000rs
He took change from neighbor shop and give her= 800rs
neighbor shopkeeper returns 1000rs not which was duplicate which means loss of total 1000rs,& 800 rs which he gaved the women & due of amount 200 of his goods.
So the total loss:
=1000 800 200 (i.e [in loss] -1000-800-200)
= 2000rs (i.e -2000rs is loss)
Therefore the shopkeeper had a loss of 2000 rs with the loss of goods.
