I've wanted a Nintendo for a while and I can earn money myself to buy one, but my parents (mostly my mom) won't let me have one. I already have an iPad but that is something that the family owns together. I want a Nintendo that I can own by my self. How do I convince her that this is a good idea?

Well, you see mom, I really want a Nintendo 3DS, and it costs ?????. I really want to save for it myself, so please let me mom *does adorable puppy dog face*. And I promise to use it as long as I have it! Plus, I'd save for most of the games myself, so it probably won't cost you a penny! I promise I'll still love the iPad, and I'll balance the two consoles. Plus, I won't be alone, me and <insert bff> will plaay together! I promise!

I am not obsessed with Clefairy.
One reason might be because your mom thinks that games are a waste of time/money. I'd have to agree with her about that. I play games also but not as much as I use to.
Two you can tell your mom that you would be paying for everything yourself but it sounds like that hasn't worked. try that and if it doesn't work than just accept it. Think about other things you have been wanting for a while that are a more productive use of your time.

no I just do not care for video games. I only play them like once a week, there are other, better uses of my time and money besides video games.

you could tryto work for it and maybe 1 day you could get it or maybe on chrismas or your birthday as a gift. i ot my 3ds on my birthday but on 8/1/15, i broke it, so if you run in a case where you did that and they never buy you one =, try to save money xause you willbe held accountable for the 3ds
