Give Explanation about Diabeties?

My brother is in the 10th grade and this is what they learned about diabets:
Diabetes is a disorder in metabolism represented in the form of a permanent hypergglycemia that is higher than 1.2 g/l.
There are several forms of diabetes.
.The most serious one is the " juvenile diabetes" because it attacks adolescents and young adults who lose weight. This disease is charactarized by a hyperglycemia higher than 2g/l,a polyria and a glycosuria,i.e. an elimintation of an excessive quantity of urine rich in.glucose.
(Normally,the urine doesn't contain glucose),but the latter appears as soon as glycemia rises above the threshold value around 1.8 g/l. This results in dehydration of the body ,as well as intense thirst,cz glucose carries water away with it.
