Girls - why consumer might decide to boycott a particular company?

Probably a lot of different reasons but the ones that come to mind would be animal testing - Many companies testing on animals get boycotted as do those who dump toxic materials in the oceans/rivers etc. Or maybe the company uses overseas sweatshops to make their goods? Maybe if a company is found to be fraudulent with what their product promises and what it actually does?
