It is completely normal. I am in a relationship with a 16 year old boy, and I'm a 14 year old girl. I mean, yeah it can be hard to balance a job, school, and a relationship. Trust me, you'll get through it. Plus, you don't know how long you'll last anyway, but if you're in college and she's still in high school, explain to them that they're in a slightly lower grade than you. The age shouldn't bother you. It's only 2 years, better than 5 years. Ya know? Just relax and focus on today rather than the future.
Lol hunny when you get older the age difference will be fine, there are 16 year olds in high school lol im in grade 11 and im 16 so im guessing your really smart lol or you are under a different system of schooling ..however society should never determine what you can and cannot do. Do it for you and not for anyone else because in the end your friends cant feel your pain , never forget
age doesn't really matter, i mean yeah it seems like a big difference but as you guys grow older it wont seem that big....most old couples have 5- 10 year differences and they seem fine as long as the person you are with makes you happy and you guys are both comfortable with each others ages its fine.... as for you college friends don't worry so much about what they think as i keep saying as long as you guys are happy everything should be fine.....
Just going to throw this out there, if she's 14 and has 5 years to graduate then that doesn't mean she's smart. She's normal. Also it's always okay to date someone as long as you follow the two year rule(unless your 18 depending on where you live) so don't worry about it. Although in my opinion you should just forget about relationships and focus on science. Focus on making the world a better place.
Yes as long as you follow the two year rule. However, be careful. I dated a girl in highschool and she turned out to be an android programmed by the NSA to spy on me. She had a malfunction and tried to kill me. why was I here? Oh yeah, just follow the two year rule and you should be fine until your eighteen. Then you have to especially be careful with her parents. Also saying she's smart because she's going to finish highschool in a normal pace is idiotic.
