At the place I used to work, I met a girl that I really like and I asked around and shes 17 and in grade 12, and im 16 in grade 10 but i dont think she knows that. one time we were talking and she jokingly said something about driving around in my car and listening to music but i dont have a car and i didnt tell her that nor did i tell her that i did, which i dont. it was my last day of work a couple days ago and she said she wanted to continue to hangout so she asked me to go to a movie and i said yes, but im worried she expects me to drive up in a car and she expects that im older. how can i bring up the topic and tell her the truth?

In a relationship, truth and respect are the basis.
Do not try to hide to her your situation, just tell the truth that you do not have car.
But your question is how no?
One day before you are going to go to a movie, say to her jokingly (if you are afraid to tell directly) : hey, how about the movie that we are going to watch? And so on... But finally you say, (eg : hey Mary, I don't have a car, and I am still 16, so what if we go by taxi or bus?)
If the girl is really interested to what you say and who you are, she will accept. Maybe she knows already but want you to tell her, nor to tease you if you can really rely on her and tell about who you are.
Good luck my friend.
