We have a website on Shopify with an app we installed for Quickbooks. The app links our store sales? to QB and our orders get exported each day into QB but it's not getting categorized correctly. Our paypal deposits get categorized correctly into our company bank account. For some reason the bank account doesn't show up as an option for categorizing the website payments (payments made through shopify using a cc). Contacted the developer of the app and they stated it's not an app issue and that the categories shown are the categories directly from our QB account.
Here are the app settings that confuse me.
"Paypal Deposits (Quickbooks Account: Bank)"
I selected our company bank account here.
"Payment Deposits (Quickbooks Account: Asset)"
My drop down menu only gives me options for "Inventory Asset, Prepaid Expenses, Uncategorized Asset, or Undeposited Funds"
Why doesn't my bank account also show up as an category for Payment Deposits? Am I categorizing these payments incorrectly?
