Gave away my cat, cat is not interacting with new owner, what can she do?

I recently gave away my cat in trade for a dog. Now my former cat is not interacting with its new owner. What can I tell the new owner to do to help the cat?

It should just be a matter of time your cat will like the owner sooner or later. Maybe the cat misses you, if your visiting the cat then it may be hard for the cat to adapt to its new home.

I suggest cat toys for interacting and growing a bond so the cat is not so stressed.

Actual toys that they interact not just mouses. i mean lasers.. and stringey toys that you make move with feathers on the end. they enjoy that and seems to makes miracles with cats in distress.

Cats and kittens get attached to their owners and moving is a big change just make the cat feel welcomed and see what happens keep playing and cuddling it and it may warm up to the new owner
