... married before me. She started a group online to share our ideas for our weddings. I posted the song I want for my first dance with my hubby. She loved it and suggested it to her fiancee, he agreed it was perfect for them. Anyway, she told me that they love it for their song. I told them it was the song I had chosen and for them to chose any other song in the world. Since then I have been getting texts from them trying to guilt trip me into giving the song up. Things like the song has sentimental value to us, his parents used to lien to it all the time growing up ect. I don't feel I need to justify why the song should be mine, other than the fact that I had choosen it first as my song.
Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?
Friendship advice I'm engaged an planning a wedding, so is a close friend if mine. She is getting?

In my opinion, I think the song should be yall's since you chose it first. If I were you I would just keep that song and maybe they will eventually choose a different one since it will be at your wedding. Just don't show that it bothers you. You could try acting like you don't care about the song anymore.
well, i think if you are the one who first post it in the group online then the credit will be yours that you are the first who knew about the song.Anyways why not just share the same and just make your wedding more unique than hers anyways there are lots of songs that are used for the wedding. Dont mind what about people would say because what matter is that you and your soon to be hubby and the family know well that it is just more than a song and that real meaning of this for you
