It kind of depends on the industry, how many people will need to discuss before the hire and how many people were interviewing for the job they may have to compare 3 or more candidates and that takes time. How long did they have off for the holidays? Many take a week off or longer... As Christmas fell on a Wednesday they may have taken the 24th through the 1st. I would wait until the end of the week this week. However, it is appropriate to send a thank you, holiday card or give a phone call following up on the interview. That is part of interview etiquette so that would not be out of line.I wouldn't directly ask about your role, but you could mention something like "looking forward to speaking with you about becoming part of the _____ team" etc. Hope this helps... it's a sticky situation, but one I have been in before.
Thank you so much for your answer
Just want to ask more about question for you.
they have 10pple and I was the first person had second interview at that moment and they said since they have lots of candidates they arr gonna let me know by the new year. the position is marketing coordinator which they have only one open position for now.
I was afraid that it's too much if i send an email to them. coz I emailed thank you twice( first interview and second). If it's still okay to email, would you mind if i ask your idea about whole emaili comment that I have to send.
something like you mentioned "looking forward to ~"
Thank you so much for your help.
I have been waiting for andwers for that question and no one tells me like that detail and give me a good comment
