I have been lifting for a total of about 3 years, 1.5 of those being serious years and my bench started really light, at around 12kg (25lb) being my 5 rep max
I have now managed to get it up to 90kg (200lb) for a 1rm but it's only gone up 10kg (22lb) in the past year
Meanwhile my deadlift, squat and most pulling movements have gone up dramatically
One thing worth mentioning also is that my overhead press is very weak, i do 40kg (88lb) for sets of 5. Any tips?
Fix slow bench progression?
