... and I get an array of answers when googling about laptops which is why I'm asking here for advice on what laptop to get. Here's my situation: I am an Engineering student. I have used an Asus N550JK laptop where I run 2 external monitors off of at all times extending the display to the left and right monitors via HDMI and MiniDisplayPort. Sometimes I connect another HDMI to my TV. My preferences are: 1) i7 processor for multi-monitor and speed purposes 2)clicky keys (unlike Mac's shallow keys) for comfortable typing 3) a numeric keypad on to the right of the keypad 4) 15-15.9 inch screen size 5) plenty of inputs and processor/graphics power for multiple monitors and semi-heavy use 6) At least 8gb or higher RAM 7) something reliable/long lasting/rarely has problems like heat, boot up, speed, glitch, or screen problems etc. I know Apple is rated best for reliability but I prefer PC. I love this Asus laptop because the inputs were where I needed them, keys were clicky, it had a touch screen, never got hot, and I could multitask as I always do with homework/studying on multiple tabs on multiple monitors. I need something exactly like this Asus, only reliable/will last long/won't give me problems. Comment questions, preferences and tips on finding a new laptop. I'll try to respond to all comments. Thanks! -Jake
