my mother is 52 years old, widowed, and cannot work, she has 2 children me 14/years old, and a 16/year old, we have been living off of my fathers social security checks for a long time now but they get cut in half in 2 moths as my sister turns 17, we are going to have to sell our house and get a 2 room apartment, are there any other ways to get income/ lower costs without selling our house such as hidden government funds, or anything of the sort?

Well you could apply for mom cause she can't work has your mom ever worked?There are goverment grants you can apply for the proceeds where you can apply for theses you have to have a account that the money will go into. You have to get approved first it might be a good idea to down size you could go to a web site called gofundme.com tell your story and others might help that way.
