Finance Question> How do you calculate a 3 day return and 2 day return of such as stock prices?

Its really itching my brain, not sure if theres a method to use or if its simple {(today price-yesterday)/yesterday price}..
Because it asks a 3 day return of the prices not sure how it would be calculated.
such as day1-3
day 1 $1.355
day 2 $1.254
day 3 $1.233
day 4 $1.155

Any suggested help would be greatly appreciated Thanks..
