Me and my girlfriend and our 3 month baby live in a 1bdrm paying $820 a month but we want to upgrade to a 2 bdrm in our apartment complex. When our lease is up she will be ten months. We have a 2000 Dodge Non an the a/c sucks for our baby sometimes she sweats...should we upgrade apartments and now pay $999 a month so she can have her own room and decorate it nice for her or should we finance for a better car?

You only spend a few minutes to an hour a day in the car. That is not enough to justify the interest on financing. The only way to justify payments is if you need the vehicle in your business, so it will pay for itself. The whole world lived without air conditioning until just before you were born, so your baby will live too.
Rent of 820 a month is way less than anybody else is paying. The only times I have ever been able to save anything was when I was paying less than the average rent. You are saving something, right? Buy pure silver coins and hide them at home. Put them in a cardboard box with Christmas ornaments on top so they will not appear to be worth stealing.
Some people hate precious metals. Screw them. The nation is collapsing, slowly, and precious metal is the only investment that will preserve your savings through a collapse. Food is second best. Buy on sale and buy enough to last until the next sale.
