my father was disabled and then died, i got ssi money and i an now 17, but i never saw any of it. i was told by my mother that the checks stopped. could ssi stop after parental death, or did my mother just steal from my brother, sister, and me?

My son and I are going through the same thing. Here in Utah, my son and I each have our own individual ssi amount. Call and tell your city office, tell them your situation, and they will help you. Best of luck, dear! Sorry your father has passed. Be happy he's at peace. You'll be in Heaven again with him <3
