Family moving away! Help?

My family are moving away and I need help! 

So yeah, recently my girlfriend moved in with me because she was thrown out by her family. She is 16 and I'm 17. She moved in with me because my family said it was okay as she had no where else to go. Since she has moved in things have got tough between us and my family as they say that we spend too much time together and do talk to them.

Every single day after school we come into the house and spend all day downstairs until about 9:30, then we go upstairs and spend time together (my family go to bed about 10:20). My dad complains that we are never downstairs and that we are being selfish and 'doggish'. I never know how to make him happy. I'm a 17 year old guy and I don't drink, smoke, do drugs and have good grades yet he still gets on to me for not doing enough.

I'm going to university hopefully in September and my full family have decided to move to England. I can't go as I can't afford to miss my last year of school and the same with my girlfriend. So they are basically leaving us however my dad is opening a hotel in a couple of months but only I am allowed to stay there. It is 15 miles away from my school and id never be able to spend time with my girlfriend. I don't want to stay on my own for a year with no friends or family and my girlfriend is basically homeless. She doesn't have family to go to because they said they wouldn't have her back and my family is giving me and feasible option. I have no clue what to do and it's scaring me.

I'm from Scotland by the way. I'm doing my advanced highers and if I move out into our own flat I'd probably get no financial support.

well sometimes the state has housing that one can apply for it surprises me that your parents can't help you with the finances to make things work you might have to apply for sometype of housing help you might have to get a job her and you to make ends meet the state has apts you can apply for if you don't have the funds to rent it out right  you might have to do it together its ashamed that you are left in the predictment your in

Maybe it's time to consider a break.

If you wish to stay where you are.
Sign up for state housing. (State housing)
Then go to Social Security equivalent in yr country.
It's the government agency for unemployed
people. (People get payments, there) 
Enquire about allowances/payments you 
maybe entitled to. (Unemployed or Living 
away from home.)
If you both don't qualify for an allowance
Both yr g/f and you will need  jobs.
Living in a sharehouse with people is cheaper 
than renting a unit for the two of you.
But remember, whatever you earn, will pay rent
food,school costs, and utilities.
Get tv,furniture, whatever you need from a 2nd hand
charity shop.
There are cheaper shops to buy food.
Take any concessions you can.
This is no time to be  proud!
Trust me you will manage either way.


By the way, you didn't say why yr g/f got
thrown out by her parents?
Or  why yr parents have a problem with her?

lots of listening.

First of all she's.lucky to have a boy.like you. You sound a lot better than my sister. She is25, still lives at home, drinks occasionally, is really.loud, never works, stays out all night and says my mom never does anything for her. I would recommend either you two finding other family to live with or getting jobs to buy a place, last option is stay with friends or homeless shelters. I hope everything works out. I'll be praying for you!
