well the half of the fireman that are cooling down the generator in fukushima will die earlyer becouse the radiation is very high and they are forced by the goverment to do it and i think that it is very shocking, does the goverment don't give a shit about there people?
I lived in Japan and this is what I saw and heard on the news.
There was a long connection of two earth's crust under the sea along the west coast of Japan.
First, one earth crust is sucked down under the other for years and it finally sprang up because it's at its limit.
Secondly, that movement under the sea caused a huge earthquake starting from the North of Japan across Japan.
Third, The 9.0 magnitude tsunami swept Japan. All of this happened in one day and I think people who are alive are very lucky.
About the Nuclear power plants, there were 6 of them altogether in the northern Japan which had the most damages from the natural catastrophy in Japan. Some of the nuclear cooling system were damaged by the tsunami and they were starting to melt down. One of the nuclear power plant had a fire because of the earthquake and the other two nuclear power plants were already shut down.
They tried to stop the melt down by adding the special water and seawater. But, all of these caused hydrogen explosions and led poisonous gas in Japan. The hydrogen explosions was cause by the heat of the nuclear and the cold water clashing together. In which the clash cause a chemical fog to collide with the oxygen in the air and cause hydrogen gas. And all of us know hydrogen go BOOM all the time.
So, later afterthat, they were attempting to bury the nuclear power plants under the ground.
I hope this answer helps you!!
