Hey! I'm using the Facebook App on my android device. When using the search bar drop down, below my recent searched, I see "Posts you might like". These recommendations include posts by people I often search for but are not my friends, and of friends I often interact with. My friend has the same phone and it only shows her suggestions of people who are on her friends list. She also looks for people that have public posts that she can see so it isn't about their privacy settings. How can she change that so she she's people who are not on her friends list as well?

The way "posts you may like" work is that Facebook will try to save your cookies. Like when you like or comment a picture or a video. Then Facebook will take any tags from that video and "save" it so when you go to posts you may like you will see videos or photos you like because it has a database od the tags you like. It only generates your tags and looks for similar posts. If your friend starts liking videos of cats etc. She will get cat videos she may like, because Facebook will see that she has liked cat videos before... it's kinda hard to explain, but I hope you understood my explanation :)
