the inscriptions and coins played a vital role and act as a source of history of medieval india.as an example,if we dont have inscriptions we dont know the culture,civilization and other details and even the existence of ancient india.the inscriptions of chola,chera,pandiya,pallava kingdom are found in india as a source of history of medieval india.
