Everyone seems to say that Jehovahs witnesses say the world was to end in 1975 but I dont seem to see that anywhere on jw.org or anyplace for that matter. The only thing I have seenn was that was the year they claim Adam turned 7000. Can one of you thousand people who say they satated this in their literature please tell me where is states this please.

no witnesses never predicted the time the world would end..matthew 24:36 Concerning that day and hour nobody knows neither the angels of the heavens nor the son but only the father..yet we are close now because many prophesies in the bible that the bible mentions have happened already before the end of this system is to come ..matthew 24:14 and this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come."...we are soooo close to the end and we want all to come to know god and his son beforehand..check out jw.org for more info on this subject ..many ppl falsely accuse us of trying to predict what we simply don't know..we only know what the bible gives us on this matter nothing more ..we can only go by the signs given thru the bible and the events that will take place before the end :-)
Their slogan in 1973 was "Stay Alive Till '75", supposedly the end of the 7000 years where they said "it was very likely" that Armageddon will start that year because Jehovah God works on timetables. They missed 1878, 1913, 1914, 1919, 1925 and several other predictions previously.
Yes. I know this. I am asking all those who say opposite to show their proof. So far, Noone has over a period of months there has been no answer. Funny how ones sat all kinds of things but when asked to back it up, they can't. Just proves them the liers and deceivers they are.
