I am 49 years old. I have lived with epilepsy for 26 years - I have Grand Mal, Myoclonic, Simple Partial, and Complex Partial seizures with phsycological manifestations. I have been treated for chronic pain from bulging discs in lower back for 18 years with drugs that leave me intoxicated, but even though I probably shouldn't even be driving I have still managed to work, and just this week was told by doctor that I have arthritis in my knees, which is why they've been popping and hurting to the point that I cannot perform my job. My question is: am I a good candidate to get my Social Security Disability if I apply for it? If so and I get a lawyer how long would it take? And if I get it how long after I get it would it be before I could get health insurance coverage through SSDI?
Epilepsy, bulging disc in back, and arthritis in my knees...can I get my SSDI?
