Make sentences with all of/ most of etc.+whom/which.
Question 1) Ten people applied for the job.None of them were suitable.
Are the following sentences correct?
Ten people applied for the job, none of whom were suitable.
None of ten people,who applied for the job, were suitable.
If these answers are wrong, please tell me the answer and explain why.

1) I agree with 'none of whom were suitable'.
None of ten people, who applied for the job, were suitable - nonsensical sentence structure, would make better sense if it were:
Out of the ten people who applied for the job, none of whom was suitable. (or Not one of the ten people who applied for the job, were suitable)
The two correct sentences , to me , will be.............
1. Ten people applied for the job but none of whom WAS was suitable.
2. None of the ten people who applied for the post WAS suitable.
As there is a negative sense in the last clause of the first sentence, the main verb is used in the singular number. (WAS)
The same happens to the second sentence.
