Engine died without warranty due to previous owner. Just bought car and $14,000 in car debt, maxed out credit cards at 20. What can I do to get rid of debt? I work night shift for the military 3 days at work, 2 days off, repeating. I am taking home $900 every two weeks.Am I screwed? Any jobs that I can do on off days?

Go to the bank and speak to them about your options. Maybe they can consolidate your credit card and car loan in one bank loan that is lower interest and therefore easier to manage. Then find another job for your days off to pay the bank loan back. Don’t take out any more big loans that you can’t pay back. Take the bus or buy a cheap car (without a loan) to get to your work.
