I had a project due today, and I finished it on time, but I wasn't able to hand in a hard copy of the assignment partly because of printer issues and partly because of my own stupidity and forgetfulness. I want to send an email to my teacher to explain the situation. Is this an okay email to send?
Hi _____! I wasn't able to hand in the hard copy of the project today because my printer isn't working properly. I was going to print it in the school library during my lunch period, but I accidentally forgot to email myself the document last night, so I wasn't able to print it. I'll hand in the hard copy on Monday, and I attached a copy of the assignment to this email in case you want to look at it before Monday.
