Hi I need clarification regarding my father after a cancer tumor brain surgery removal.
The EEG reads the following
This EEG is Abnormal.Locolized slowing within the left hemisphere area suggest and underlying structural abnormality.
What does this mean?
What is the symptoms?
What can we expect from him?

well if it was removed he has a better chance of making it through this cancer is a real devistation to the patient as well as the family involved so looking at this he could have memory problems as well as seizures not remembering things that he would normally remember could have swelling if it is or was localized it could cause motor problems knowing that a part of the brain that tells the body what to do in areas as legs arms hands physical issues as well it could come back hopefully they got it all he could do things and become really non socialable as well as edgy depression anxiety urine or species problems immune system could be effected theres alot that could change if he is under going chemo or raditation he would really get sick and start going down hill fast you also might end up being cared for by a caregiver it just depends how he responds to treatment if thats a option
