Hey. Im a male in my mid 20s. As long as I can remember Ive had a dripping nose while I eat, brush my teeth, drink any fluid, and kind of while working out. It is a clear drip, without sneezing or coughing. I actually lose the flavor of food, especially ice cream after the first 5 or 10 bites. My grandfather had this dripping problem as long as I can remember. Its mainly just annoying. The best lead Ive found so far is gustatory rhinitis. I havent been to the doc. Im sensitive to dairy (lacto-) but no other food allergies at all. Any medical diagnoses?

No medical diagnosis...but here's my piece: I have never heard of that happening (unless it's cold in your house?) It doesn't sound like a medically bad thing to me. It could be a sign of good health: healthy, responsive nasal passages. If you really don't like it maybe you should try a salt lick. When you have salt in your system you retain your water better I think. I have a friend with drippy eyes everyone think's she's teary alot. It doesn't happen when she's dehydrated of couse. I think a drippy nose is better than a dry one. Make sure to carry a hanky or use your sleeve so you don't sniffle all the time if your a student in a quiet library or anything!
