This going to sound real crazy but it's true. Ever since i was young i have had the ability to put myslef into a trance like state. And i can vividly see anything i dream of it usually only for a short burst at a time maybe 3- 5 minutes but if i really wanted to i could make it last a long time. It's not daydreaming is much too powerful for that i walk into a circle and my eyes get half lidded and my hands clench and i limp. Iv couldn't control it well till i was about 8. Before then i would do it at random times even in-front of company. My mom would actually have to knock me out of the trance. But now i can control it but if i don't do it for a while i get this urge a tingling in my legs to do it and it gets so bad that i almost have to do it. I can't feel taste or touch anything in the dream but i do get the chills. So what do you think it is? A form of hypnosis, lucid dreaming, psychosis or something else entirely? It's so amazing thou anything i want i can be in it. No matter how impossible or unrealistic.

How cool. If nothing else, you have a very strong imagination, which is excellent. I guess what it is depends on whether you can control it. If you can consciously change the experience, then I think that would be lucid dreaming (or maybe just a very vivid type of daydreaming, which is also a good thing). If it's more happening to you, and you are simply able to control starting it up, then it could be psychosis, but I doubt it.
If you can't change the experience... I know (not believe) that there's telepathy, because I've experienced it numerous times. If it works within our current laws of physics (as opposed to some medium not yet discovered), then it's very explainable. Whenever electricity moves (like between neurons in our brain), an electromagnetic wave (like radio) is generated. Because our brains are similarly designed, I think they act like antennas. Since electromagnetic waves decrease in amplitude by the square of their distance, they get weaker over time, but theoretically never go away. Perhaps the brain waves of an individual who is long dead are still bouncing around (between the Earth and stratosphere, as radio waves do). I think we're all picking up all those thoughts, but most of us pay them no mind, which could be mighty distracting. Maybe you're just plugging into another's brain waves. It would be like looking through their eyes.
Enjoy.
