My dog got attacked and bitten by another bigger dog. The owner and the dog ran away without leaving any information, however there was a witness. Right now we are taking him to the vet, but if something happens, what should I do?

I would file a police report. Call the non emergency police line, and tell them what happened. They'll probably want to talk to the witness. This way you're covered if you happen to identify who the other dog's owner is. They may be responsible for your vet bills, depending on the situation.
