So my dogs vet said he had ear mites...so she treated him with a one time treatment then he goes back for 100% coverage at the end of month to get another treatment..but now I've noticed he has brown flakey dry skin with either old blood or yeast in his ears. there's not a ton but I can see it if I shine a flash light in his ear. He had some inflammation so they gave him a pill to bring it down. It works and he only scratches and shakes once I look and touch his ear. What im wondering is...could he now have an infection or is it the old stuff coming up? Anyone have this experience or should I just phone vet again??

i would call the vet and let him or her know whats going on sometimes its old stuff from the mites coming up but its probably bad flakey substance coming out but just to be on the safe side call the vet and see what she says wether bringing him back waiting or what thats what i think should happen next
