Can I believe in both or is one more accurate then the other?

You have to remember several things, which the atheists prefer to ignore. One of the more important things is that the bible was not written in English, so you have to learn how to check every word to be sure it was translated correctly. Another is that the bible speaks in earthly languages, and we earthlings don't always talk straight. For example, the first three chapters of Ephesians contain several figures of speech called parentheses, but nobody knows enough to sort them out.
Then you have to remember that the bible is not trying to teach science. Science is anything that can be measured. Spirit is anything that can not be measured. Spiritual matters are not proven by logic. Science is proven by logic. No connection. The reason you can't "prove" God is that if you don't believe, then by definition all proof is nonsense. But if you study the bible for a while, you will eventually realize that it is all true, proven to your own satisfaction. Read a chapter of Proverbs every day. Proverbs has 31 chapters so you can keep your place by just looking at a calendar. There is no religion or nothing in Proverbs and you don't have to believe anything. Just read to find wisdom. When you are comfortable with that, then read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians.
Science helps us to understand the natural world, revealing a level of order, precision, and sophistication that points to a God of infinite intelligence and power. Science reveals not just details of the natural world but also facets of the mind of God.
That point of view finds support in the Bible. Romans 1:20: " God's invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship."
Yes, the Bible does harmonize with scientific truths about the natural world. In fact, they are compatible. To disregard either one is to leave unopened a door to the knowledge of God.
The bible was not written to teach science or to be a school textbook, but what it says about scientific matters is always accurate. That's exactly what we will expect of a book that comes from God. The bible correctly teaches that the earth hangs on nothing.Job 26:7 says,"He stretches out the northern sky over empty space, Suspending the earth upon nothing." When most people believed that the earth was flat, the bible tells us at Isaiah 40:22, "There is One who dwells above the circle of the earth."
