Ok so I was at a friend's house and HER BFF was over. She was kinda cute and had a funny and optimistic personality. We all joked around (other people were there, it was a party) and went to her room. The BFF (name not disclosed) start to sit down next to me. Then she did a little thing where you tickle someone by pinching their sides. We laughed and stuff. Blah Blah Blah I left she smiled at me then I text my original friend (not the BFF) and she's all like "She wants you to text her" and now I have the BFF's number. We are texting but I really don't know how to tell if she likes me or not and how I should go about with it.

By The Way the original friend DOES NOT like me, we are just friends, so she would be cool with it.

may be....but here comes a dual phase where its difficult to understand whether the person is serious towards you or not. You can ask her straight via a msg (as it has become the common mode to express)whether she likes you or not and tell her about your feelings so that she'd be able to know you better ....hope this would be helpful

IMO why complicate things. Just ask her to come out n chill than ask if she wanna date u. If yes than good. If no than nothings gonnna happen since u don't know her that we'll anyway. The worst thing that's gonna happen here is she won't fuck u. She was already not gonna f u anyway. So u have nothing to lose. IMO just ask her out in real life. Text message and w.e is always different than in real life.

Okay, I think she might like you. She's trying you out, like a new outfit or something, and when she gets comfortable with you, you can make your move. Ask her if she would like to hang out at the movies or something. Tell her she can bring a couple of friends along. That way she won't feel awkward.... Don't make it sound like a date, make it sound more like a fun day out or something..
The fact that she gave you her number through her friend means something too. It means that she's shy around you, and wants to get to know you better. If you want her back, then be open and be straightforward.
