In his non-Tolkein films, he tends to work with different people. From the Lord of the Rings and various planned Hobbit films, you'd have to argue that he has most commonly worked with Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, Cate Blanchett and Ian McKellen.

He seems to prefer English, Australian or New Zealander actors and actresses. This is often true of his other films too.
