So I am having new roof installed tomorrow and the site manager who works for the roofing company is trying to tell me that upon the roof inspection, it is required for the inspector to come in my house to check all rooms for CO2 detectors..
Which btw building code doesn't require one in each room for older houses. This is not a remodel. Only new shingles...
Does it make sense that a roofing inspector wants to come in my house to check c02 detectors?

Please notice tar is used and has co2 properties.
This should save your life if you happen to close your windows and happen to be in an area where co2 will accumulate.
A friend simply told the owners of the home to leave for 5 to 14 days after the roof was tarred and shingled.
