If "sky high" is not "Haut Ciel" in french that what would be the right way to say it?
Does "Haut Ciel" make sense in french? Does it mean "sky high"?

If you mean "sky high" in a figurative meaning like "the prices are sky-high" you should translate by "très hauts", "très élevés" or "au plus haut" or here "les prix sont exorbitants".
To translate "to go high sky" use "monter en flèche" (meaning becoming rapidly very high).
But if you mean high in the sky you should say "en plein ciel" or "là-haut dans le ciel".
