Its just that everytime i search for sermons, it always shows pastors who are accused of being false prophets such as Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, etc. I dont know if they are true, i kind of believe it, but i just want to be sure. I just really want to hear the word of God without worrying if the message that im listening to is legit. So can anybody help?

I don't think Joel Osteen is a false profit, I think he is a good one to listen to, but if you really think that he is then you can buy a bible or childrens Bible and read a few chapters every night. Also don't believe what the internet or people say about certain things, form your own opinion about them and then decide if you think they are false or not.
It is not reliable to ask people to tell you what the bible says. Many people will make up stuff because they don't know what it says, and many will make up stuff because they wish it would not say what it says. You just have to read it for yourself. Read a chapter of Proverbs every day. Proverbs has 31 chapters so you can keep your place by just looking at a calendar. There is no religion or nothing in Proverbs and you don't have to believe anything. Just read to find comfort and confidence. When you are comfortable with that, then read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians. Here is a book to help you to understand the bible. It's a free download and you can get a hard copy at any bible book store.

Here is a ministry that teaches self-directed bible study: www.cortright.org/study.htm
You can go to JW.org, they have a broadcast too.
What you want to do is examine the bible itself to make sure who you are listening to is teaching you what is found in the bible. To have your own personal bible discussion, at a place and time that is convienent for you and at no cost, go to jw.org and request a bible study. You won't be disappointed.
Dont get the wrong ideas guys. Like yall said. Read the bible. And i believe yall on that one and i do read my bible. Its the greatest source of Gods word and to know who He is. But im putting more emphasis on sermons becuase i love to listen to sermons. And I specifically want to listen to sermons on my headphones when im working. But every time i search any sermons, its shows pastors who are accused of bad beliefs. Its not that i believe it 100 percent, i kind of believe it, but im just that type of guy who says better to be safe then sorry. I will try the ideas you guys gave me, cuz my bible study could use some help.
