Does America have a nano Technology?

Any company that makes razor blades is using nano technology to do so. Nano diamonds are sued to edge the blades. Point I'm making is that nano technology is a lot more widespread than people think it is and usually it is not half as "cool" as they think it is either. If you can be more specific about what aspects of nano technology you are imagining I can be more specific with the details :)
